Why Due North exists

We're a small independent app studio. We make simple habit trackers — one habit, one app, done well.

We started Due North because we wanted tools we'd actually trust with the most personal parts of our lives: the habits we're trying to change. Most habit apps ask for an account, an email address, and a steady feed of your behavior sent to someone else's servers. We think that's backwards. The things you're working on are yours.

So every Due North app follows the same rules:

Your data stays on your device

No accounts, no sign-ups, no syncing your streaks to a server farm. If you delete the app, your data goes with it — because it was never anywhere else.

No ads, no tracking

We don't sell your attention and we don't watch what you do. We make money the straightforward way: a fair subscription for people who want more, and a genuinely useful free version for everyone else.

One habit at a time

We'd rather make ten focused tools than one bloated one. Each app does one thing: count the days, show your progress, keep you honest.

Built to last

No dark patterns. No countdown timers pressuring you to upgrade, no paywall in your face on day one. If an app helps you, great. If the free version is all you ever need, that's fine too.

That's it. That's the whole pitch. We're glad you're here.
